Destinations
The destinations we visit are widespread and our portfolio is ever changing and
expanding. In this edition our featured tours include Bessarabia, Gabon and Serbia,
to name but three. We also specialise in the Middle East: Egypt, Syria, Lebanon
and Jordan.
On
our group tours, in addition to using local guides, we enjoy the expertise of a
distinguished guest lecturer, each carefully chosen for their knowledge and ability
to deliver lively and informative talks, no matter what your level of interest may
be.
Many of our tours also benefit from having an appointed tour manager, who will take
care of all of those things that need doing and sorting when travelling, allowing
you to just enjoy your holiday.
Family Tours
Which brings me to highlight our family tours - excellent if you wish to travel
with your children or grandchildren. During the day they will be kept entertained
with educational projects and activities, which will bring to life their learning
at school. This year's range includes China, Jordan and two trips to Egypt.
Tailor Made & Independent Journeys
We realise that not everyone likes group travel, or that sometimes the dates simply
do not fit in the diary. So we also arrange independent and tailor-made travel.
Choose where you would like to visit, for how long, and who with, and leave the
rest to us. Follow one of our
suggested itineraries staying at your preferred hotels; or allow
us to build an itinerary around your 'hit-list' of places to see and things to do.
Palanquin
We are delighted to welcome PALANQUIN TRAVELS as a fully-integrated Culture, Wildlife
and Adventure division of The Traveller, introducing a new dynamic into the range
of opportunities we offer for remarkable, exciting and challenging experiences for
people of all ages. PALANQUIN also arranges special expeditions with schools who
want to give students more than sore feet.
